Stewardship

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21

Through stewardship we acknowledge that the many gifts we have been given are gifts from God. We are called to give back to God by offering our time and talents and by making a financial commitment to further God's work at the Church and in the community.

The Stewardship Campaign is held annually in the fall and is an opportunity to give generously of our financial resources. We rely on these financial gifts to run the Church and its many ministries. These gifts are used to strengthen lives and deepen relationships. As well, this intentional program of giving becomes a spiritual discipline, much like prayer and worship, that draws the giver closer to God, to St. Cyprian's and to its ministries. No pledge is insignificant. Multiple payment options are available, including on-line giving.

For more information on the Stewardship Campaign, please contact Cotton Whiddon, 2008 Campaign Chairman, at 936.637.0330 or To make a pledge, use the secure on-line giving form or call the Church office at 936.639.1253 to request a pledge form.
